Our Story
NOROn was founded in 2021 by a team of the experts on Artificial intelligence, Robotics, Cognitive Science and Business from Sharif University of Technology and trucking industry leaders with deep knowledge and experience as advisors. NOROn (nyuor·ron) means the basic element of human cognitive system and is chosen because our product has been made by direct inspirations from human cognitive system.

Amirmasoud Bagheri
CEO and Founder of NOROn
Amirmasoud has 6+ years of experience in Business, Strategy and Technology Development. After graduating from chemical engineering department of Sharif University of Technology, he decided to pursue a master degree in cognitive science for developing the NOROn idea. Then, he has been nominated for an MBA degree again in Sharif University of Technology and finally he has founded NOROn with Arash in September of 2021.
Mahdi Afzali
CTO of NOROn
Mahdi is a control system engineer with 4+ years of industrial experience in Control and Artificial Intelligence(Machine learning, Deep learning and computer vision). He has a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in Control system engineering, both from Sharif university of technology. Now he is an innovative member of the team that manages the technical side of NOROn.
Salar Basiri
Senior Robotics Engineer of NOROn
Salar is a Silicon Valley medalist that has won the competition more than 4 times. He is an experienced robotics engineer with 10+ years of research and industrial background in many high tech robotics applications, including car manufacturing, shipbuilding and unmanned aerial vehicles. He has a master’s degree of mechatronics and now he is the senior robotics engineer of NOROn and is implementing the hardware and robotics requirements of NOROn product.
Arash Safari
Senior AI Engineer of NOROn
Arash is a deep learning scientist with a 10+ years of industry experience. He has a bachelor degree of computer engineering and a master degree of artificial intelligence, both from computer engineering department of Sharif university of technology. Now he is pursuing his PHD from Tehran University and also he is the visionary Senior AI Engineer of NOROn.
